This Canna leaves were spectacular at Wilsons Botanical Gardens and I wanted to catch the leaves as they were on fire and full of colour as the sun shone through their leaves.

I was down the beach at low tide, and found these brightly coloured mussels on the edge of a small rock pool. I simply had to make them into an oil painting.
